POSITION OVERVIEW

The Book Keeper/Office Manager is a dual-role position. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively communicate and manage the front office while also reconciling the accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense ledgers. They should also possess a friendly demeanor so they can effectively greet and interact with office visitors and callers.

KEY INTERACTIONS
And, as part of the Financial department, the Book Keeper reports directly to the CFO. This position interacts with operational staff of all departments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee stock of office supplies.
  • Greet visitors at office.
  • Coordinate inbound & outbound email, and phone calls.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare monthly financials.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, G/L and month-end closing.
  • Prepare quarterly tax reports.
  • Coordinate quarterly tax reports with W2’s.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with administrative and accounts work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills (Fluent Spanish is a plus).
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with external and internal teams.
  • Excellent ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong initiative, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong ability to multitask.
  • Strong accounting skills necessary.
  • Friendly and upbeat demeanor.
  • HR experience preferred.
  • Notary Public Certification or willingness to become certified.

EDUCATION

  • Associates’ degree in business, a related field, or equivalent experience.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION

  • Certified Notary Public (Preferred).

EXPERIENCE

  • Bookkeeping: 1 year (Required).

SHIFT

  • Day Shift (Required).

ABILITY TO COMMUTE

  • Orlando, FL 32801 (Required).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Working on a computer for long periods at a desk.
